Naming Opportunities

Located on the second floor of the new student center, the Institute Breakout Room will be an inviting space for community members to explore their passions within the Institutes through group work and group dialogue. This dynamic, spacious venue will be a desirable and comfortable location that allows a flexible arrangement to maximize productivity and facilitate the flow of ideas.

Located in the outdoor living and recreation space, the ping pong pavilion will allow two to four individuals to play at a time. The addition of spaces like this in the heart of campus will enhance the student experience, supporting moments of joy and physical activity to create balance within the rigor of the academic day.

The Office of Global Diversity and Inclusion works to promote multiculturalism, compassion, equity, and understanding both on campus and within the surrounding community by sponsoring educational opportunities and training for students and faculty, hosting a variety of events, encouraging student involvement in local and national diversity conferences, and celebrating the myriad of cultures and people that make up Perkiomen School.

Located on the ground floor of the new student center, this space dedicated to Global Diversity and Inclusion complements the other student resource offices on this level. As community members pass through this building each day, this presence is a visible reminder that diversity, equity, and inclusion work (DEI) is a priority within Perkiomen’s culture. A valuable extension of the various breakout areas throughout the student center, the office will serve as a resource room and allow for one-on-one meetings between Global Diversity Collaborative faculty and student leaders.

These practice spaces will be open for students’ individual and group use during the academic day.

Located in the new student center, at the top of the stairs and directly visible from the Atrium, the eGaming Studio will be one of the first rooms people will see when entering the second floor. This signature space will further bolster Perkiomen School’s visibility as a boarding school of the twenty-first century, providing a state-of-the-art exhibition and event room, and enhancing a passion that already exists within our student body.

An eGaming studio is more than just a computer lab. It is a place for students to exhibit and cultivate their talents. A great basketball venue needs not only a basketball court with hoops; it also needs seating and a viewing area for spectators. Similarly, eGaming requires computers and projectors, but it also requires furnishings and amenities as an event that increasingly attracts a community for both competitors and onlookers.

eGaming clubs, such as eSports, and other after school and weekend activities will have a home here. Events may be organized by students internally, or include participation in large competitions with other schools and organizations.

In addition to its competitive and recreational use, the eGaming Studio will be used during the academic day by various courses to view videos and offer interactive lectures via Zoom. This space will also benefit our Institutes as well as provide a space for guest speakers and presentations of student capstone projects.

Established in 2017, the mission of the Entrepreneur Institute at Perkiomen School is to make a liberal arts education relevant to students through rigorous application.

Candidates for Entrepreneurship Distinction complete the Foundations of Entrepreneurship course, cross-listed supporting courses, as well as a capstone project. The capstone project represents a substantial investment of time and effort to solve a problem and create value in the world.

Whether creating for-profit products or businesses, or non-profit socially driven enterprises, students learn and demonstrate resiliency, cooperation, communication, calculated risk taking, creative thinking, and confidence.

Located on the second floor of the new student center, the open layout of the Art Studios will be welcoming spaces. Visible through glass panels, all students who make their way through the building will be exposed to the arts. We hope that when students are in these spaces, they will be fascinated by the arts and will want to dive into the art-making process.
