Located on the ground floor of the Student Center, the Fritz Family Bookstore will sell student essentials including school supplies, uniforms, and spirit gear.

Located on the second floor of the new student center, the Institute Breakout Room will be an inviting space for community members to explore their passions within the Institutes through group work and group dialogue. This dynamic, spacious venue will be a desirable and comfortable location that allows a flexible arrangement to maximize productivity and facilitate the flow of ideas.

Prominently-positioned on one side of the Student Center Atrium, Lloyd’s Café will serve a variety of food and provide a wonderful social setting and area for students, faculty, and staff to gather on a daily basis. Floor-to-ceiling windows, natural sunlight and spectacular views of campus will offer a vibrant and enjoyable environment for café guests to gather and learn from one another, cultivating relationships that will last a lifetime. In addition to its everyday function, this generous, eye-catching space will allow for special events serving the greater school community.

Lloyd’s Café may include the following features:

• Display case for bakery goods, along with a fully-equipped coffee bar, including an espresso machine to deliver a complete menu of hot and cold caffeinated beverages
• Display cooking section equipped with both a cooking station and a hot/cold display that can be re-configured daily to accommodate enticing options such as a burrito, noodle, falafel, and sushi bars
• A visible preparation area, cook station, and pizza oven to allow for made-to-order items such as pizzas, burgers, fries, hot sandwiches, breakfast wraps, and omelets
• Reach-in ice cream chest, configurable to gelato if desired
• Storage space sized to allow for the cafe to run independently from dining services with prep areas large enough to allow for more complex menu items or as staging for catered events, either alone or in tandem with the adjacent teaching kitchen
• Most importantly, staffing will be organized to allow for expanded service hours throughout the week and weekend, making Lloyd’s Café the go-to place for the Perkiomen community.

Located just outside the new student center, the fire pit pavilion will be a beautiful focal point for conversation and a favorite entertainment spot of Perkiomen’s outdoor living space. Whether you are a student or faculty member, a parent or an alum, Perkiomen community members will enjoy creating memories and experiences while sitting around the fire as they laugh, share stories, and roast marshmallows in any season.

Located in the outdoor living and recreation space, the ping pong pavilion will allow two to four individuals to play at a time. The addition of spaces like this in the heart of campus will enhance the student experience, supporting moments of joy and physical activity to create balance within the rigor of the academic day.
