Located in the new student center, at the top of the stairs and directly visible from the Atrium, the eGaming Studio will be one of the first rooms people will see when entering the second floor. This signature space will further bolster Perkiomen School’s visibility as a boarding school of the twenty-first century, providing a state-of-the-art exhibition and event room, and enhancing a passion that already exists within our student body.

An eGaming studio is more than just a computer lab. It is a place for students to exhibit and cultivate their talents. A great basketball venue needs not only a basketball court with hoops; it also needs seating and a viewing area for spectators. Similarly, eGaming requires computers and projectors, but it also requires furnishings and amenities as an event that increasingly attracts a community for both competitors and onlookers.

eGaming clubs, such as eSports, and other after school and weekend activities will have a home here. Events may be organized by students internally, or include participation in large competitions with other schools and organizations.

In addition to its competitive and recreational use, the eGaming Studio will be used during the academic day by various courses to view videos and offer interactive lectures via Zoom. This space will also benefit our Institutes as well as provide a space for guest speakers and presentations of student capstone projects.
